That’s why Autumn is the best time to start a new running routine. Making running a habit will be much easier once it’s a part of your routine. And now is the time to make this decision.
5. “ SELF CARE”
Feeling connected to nature can produce similar benefits to well-being, regardless of how much time one spends outdoors.
Exposure to nature has been linked to a host of benefits, including improved attention, lower stress, better mood, reduced risk of psychiatric disorders and even upticks in empathy and cooperation. And as the season change, there's no better feeling than being part of that landscape so pulling on those trail shoes and going through your local park can really help you stave off those winter blues.
Finally, there is the rain. It’s going to be there but if you embrace it then honestly its one of the most joyous things you will do. Get a decent running jacket and run through the wet stuff. You wont regret it in fact you’ll start to love it.
