Equinox24: Team BGT VeloRunner Takes Three First Places

36 laps. A finish time of 24:34:48. First overall, first Large Team and first Mixed.
Team BGT VeloRunner delivered a superb result at Equinox24, topping all three standings and giving everyone back at VeloRunner something to celebrate.
The results tell one part of the story. The photographs tell another: a campsite full of people, camping chairs squeezed beneath the VeloRunner gazebo, mugs in hand and a whiteboard keeping track of who was due out next.
A proper team effort
There’s plenty of running involved in a result like this, but there’s also everything that happens between laps.
The team camp captures that side of the weekend beautifully. Somewhere to sit, refuel, pull on another layer and spend time together before the next effort. Behind the finishing time are the runners and the people helping keep the whole operation moving.
And what a backdrop for it all. A castle above the campsite, tents spread across the grass and an orange evening sky over the event village. The sort of setting that makes you pause—even with more running still to come.
