There’s something special about a summer evening on gravel.

This week’s Velorunner Tuesday Night Gravel Ride covered 26 miles of dry, dusty lanes, hidden tracks and flowing bridleways, linking together some of our favourite local routes. With perfect riding conditions, great company and plenty of laughs along the way, it was one of those rides that reminds you why gravel riding is so addictive.

As always, the pace was social, nobody was left behind, and we rounded off the evening with a well-earned refreshment stop in Elleshaw before rolling home as the sun began to fade.

Whether you’re already part of the Velorunner community or thinking about joining us on a future ride, we hope this gives you a taste of what our Tuesday nights are all about—adventure, friendship and discovering incredible local riding right on our doorstep.
