SRAM's Flat-Top chains are specifically designed for modern 12/13-speed drivetrains and are characterised by their distinctive flat top profile. This design allows for a narrower chain while still providing high strength and durability.
Flat-Top chains are exclusively compatible with SRAM's 12-speed AXS drivetrains or Transmission/T-Type. They are not compatible with other 12-speed systems or older SRAM groups.

The environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ technology EPT from KMC protects chains against corrosion for twice as long as conventional rust protection, setting a new standard. Another characteristic of EPT: The very smooth surface gives chains excellent running qualities. Dirt buildup is minimised in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly relieved.

Recommended Care intervals
- Road Bikes: KMC recommend to care for your KMC Waxed at the latest after 250 km or at least once a month.
- MTB, cross and frequent riders in all weather conditions: After 100 km at the latest.
Rewaxing
- The chain must be dry before applying the wax
- The chain does not need to be dewaxed
- Shake the bottle and apply to the inside of the chain (One complete turn)
- Do not wipe off excess wax.
- Allow to dry completely before riding, especially in wet conditions
