Service Description

Scope: This service includes everything covered in the bronze service, which likely involves basic maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments. Parts Replacement: In addition to the bronze service, the silver service includes the replacement of certain parts that commonly wear out over time, such as headset bearings, chains, and cassettes. These replacements are made as needed, based on the condition of the parts. Inspection and Adjustment: All components of the bike are thoroughly inspected and adjusted as necessary to ensure optimal performance and safety. Cleaning and Degreasing: The bike is cleaned thoroughly, and the drivetrain (the gears and chain) is degreased using an eco-friendly parts washer, such as Muc-off. Completion Time: The service may take longer than a single day, depending on the availability of replacement parts and the extent of the work required. Additional Charges: Extra charges may apply for certain types of bikes, specifically those with internal cabling, if replacement headset bearings are required. This is because accessing and replacing headset bearings in internally cabled bikes can be more complex and time-consuming. Overall, the silver service offers a comprehensive maintenance package aimed at restoring the bike to optimal condition, replacing worn parts, and ensuring a smooth and safe riding experience.
